A barnstar for you![edit]

The Original Barnstar
Hi Polyglot:

I have seen your editing on the Wiki Page "Evolution of Management System".Thanks so much for your review.

There is typo in the original title. I made a mistake when I created this page. I found this typo several weeks ago and have been struggling with this problem...can't figure out how to solve...

Thanks for taking care of my page and I appreciate more advice from you regarding this wiki page.

to avoid confusion[edit]

Hello polyglot,

Thanks for your response, but i clarify that Kalol is not Kalol INC , and convert it to a only Kalol instead of Kalol INC. and make changes of Kalol( Panchmahal) convert it to a Kalol(Halol) from your database. to avoid confusion.

Thank you — Preceding unsigned comment added by Herohindustani (talkcontribs) 13:44, 19 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the review[edit]

Thanks for reviewing my (first) article about Janie Hampton. Re your question if the article is a translation, the answer is 'no'. I've met the subject of the article a couple of times and am very familiar with her work. I feel the article still need some edits / better references but it's better than no article at all - hopefully other people will contribute to it. And yes, I'm keen to write lots more!

Scout Ranger Qualification Badge[edit]

Hi Polygot,

What info do you need to have the citations for this article validated? The book written by Dennis Eclarin is a book published here in the Philippines. I dunno were to get the actual ISBN for this book. The other reference is a military manual which i cannot share a copy as it is restricted to military personnel only. I assure you, both references are accurate and correct. Let me know if you need anything else. Thanks much for your help! :)

BTW, here's the link to an Amazon entry for Dennis Eclarin's Book [1] i checked it and found no ISBN listing for it. Hope this helps again. Many thanks! ^_^

Re your message: Your original CSD tagging was fine, though in the end, my deletion reason was correct. After a long series of edits removing sections, the article was effectively emptied out by the original author. If the original author wants to recreate the article as a real disambiguation page, they can do so. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 17:13, 19 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, you reviewed my article Hitwicket (Online Strategy Game) a few days back. You did not suggest any changes. For 2 days, the " new unreviewed article" tag disappeared but now it's still there. Can you please remove it and submit to Wikipedia that the article has been reviewed and there is no issue with it. Thanks, gvipul443 (talk) 6:18, 23 May 2014 (UTC)

William C. Hayes[edit]

Hello Polyglot. About this article, do you think a blurb from one of Hayes' books could be a reliable source for improving his biography? If yes, how can I cite it, simply reporting "blurb" instead of the page numbers? --Khruner (talk) 19:38, 27 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I converted the reference to the book to something WP recognizes as a reference. It's probably fine to have only one, so I removed the tag. --Polyglot (talk) 20:18, 27 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Quidditch Benelux[edit]

I think you are quite misinformed, there is no flying and little connection to Harry Potter besides several vestiges like the names of equipment, the pitch's configuration and the shape of some brooms. Nimbuses do no exist, and broomsticks do not fly. We do use brooms in quidditch, but most of the time they are PVC with only high level championships seeing Alivan's brooms; the championship brooms are named Shadow Chasers. Insurance is another matter we take very seriously, and it varies per country. For the Benelux, insurance matters are settling on a national governing body-basis, meaning Belgium Muggle Quidditch, Muggle Quidditch Nederland and Luxembourg Muggle Quidditch all take care of that for their individual leagues. In fact, the insurance coverage itself looks quite similar to what coverage for rugby is as the levels of injuries are just about on par (without any formal studies being done yet). –– Danachos (talk) 09:28, 1 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, ok, sorry, we got quite a lot of criticism, oftentimes in the form of "uhm, like, how do you fly?", so, sorry! And that is the plan, yup! I am waiting on some things to cool down admin-/exec-side here in BMQ, MQN, IQA, etc. so that I can fully update these pages with more legitimate info than there is currently and easier to understand structures which will happen in July. Once that is done, the plan was to go through and do the French translations myself and get BMQ/MQN's PR/Marketing Director to come through for the Dutch translation. –– Danachos (talk) 09:54, 1 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. I saw your module Module:OSM - very interesting! I've been thinking about how to make tagging of objects easier, and just put some code into a gadget, see mw:User:Bjohas/OSMgadget. The gadget inserts a section at the top of the page, and displays the result of an OSM search for wikidata and title. If nothing is found, you can use a direct link to OSM to try and spot the object manually. Once linked, you could use your module to insert a permanent link into a page. It's very basic, and not very sophisticated, but it works. Bjohas (talk) 23:01, 10 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Dakar Dem Dikk[edit]

Hello Polyglot,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Dakar Dem Dikk for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.
