Laughably incomplete, and there is no way that a comprehensive list of food would be readable/usable. Niceguyjoey 23:38, Nov 6, 2004 (UTC)

  • Oh dear, this is crap. Perhaps it could be cleaned up. Do we have an article on nutrition, types of food molecules to redirect to (proteins versus lipids versus carbs)? Dunc| 23:47, 6 Nov 2004 (UTC)
    • No, no, it becomes crap. That's the point.
  • Delete for being ridiculously incomplete, uncompletable and unencyclopedic. Wikipedia is not a shopping list. Ian Pugh 23:51, 6 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. Silly. RickK 00:02, Nov 7, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete (although it did make me smile) 50% of the article is drink, and a complete 'list of food' would be a major headache to wikify. Martin TB 00:25, 7 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete unless substantially expanded and improved. -Sean Curtin 03:14, Nov 7, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. No potential to become encyclopedic. Not even alphabetized. What does this do that categories can't do better? [[User:Dpbsmith|Dpbsmith (talk)]] 03:23, 7 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Complete disaster. Please delete. JFW | T@lk 03:27, 7 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete: Specist, too. Eucalyptus leaves are food, to koala bears, and cow feces is food to a whole range of insects. If someone comes up with a complete list of all food in his or her Notepad and posts it in, complete, I'll reconsider. Geogre 04:51, 7 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete unless radically restructured in some form I can't think of at the moment. The number and variation of objects that are food to something is so huge that this article will either be massively incomplete or too large to be usable. Not that it is usable at the moment. Average Earthman 09:46, 7 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Redirect to our very complete List of things, which is a fantastic article that includes all known examples of both food and non-food items. Unless no such list exists, in which case delete. -R. fiend 05:56, 8 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. A useless list that borders on the ridiculous. --Improv 20:43, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC)
    • I'd even say it "borders" on ridiculous as much as Nebraska "borders" on the USA. -R. fiend 21:11, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC)
