  • Some kind of Pokemon fancruft related to Pokemorphs above. Delete Gazpacho 06:10, 2 Nov 2004 (UTC)

  • Merge and redirect to Pokemorphs in order to centralize all the related articles on Pokemorphs. Why is it necessary to VFD an article within only a few hours of this page's existence? Refer to a subject matter group, such as Wikipedia:WikiProject Pokémon, and wait to see if the article can be cleaned-up. -- Netoholic @ 08:26, 2004 Nov 2 (UTC)
    • There are two reasons something may not be encyclopedic. Topic, and content. Judgements on a topic can be made, suggesting that they are not encyclopedic, and in such cases, the youth of the actual article content is irrelevant. That's what happened here. --Improv 18:02, 2 Nov 2004 (UTC)
      • I am no expert on Pokemon, or many subjects. Neither are you. Making judgements based on a Google search and 30 seconds of checking does not exclude this information. Refer these sorts of things to those users here that have identified themselves as subject matter experts. When they have made an assessment, and made some effort trying to clean it up, then I will accept that we've given this sufficient investigation. -- Netoholic @ 18:32, 2004 Nov 2 (UTC)
        • There is a difference between material that is core to the game, and material that goes on a tangent from anything previously mentioned in either the cartoon series, the video games, or any of their related material. While I'm not completely a Pokemon expert, I do realize that enough of the things written about these characters has little, if anything, to do with anything Pokemon-related release by Nintendo. The page that this article deals with, Pokemorphs, admits that it's fanfiction. A small fanfiction article that combines three completely different genres (arguably) is not the same as a published book by Nintendo (which, based on the material being covered, would probably never happen.) • Netoholic, I may not have mentioned it here before, but I actually really like pokemon. I've beaten red, green, and yellow, have played silver, have all of them plus the first stadium game, and enjoyed the anime, having a *lot* of them on tape. I also saw the first three movies. I haven't dusted them off for awhile, and may not be up to date with the latest things, but I actually am not at all ignorant of Pokemon. That doesn't mean I think it's encyclopedic. Please try not to assume knowledge of what people know without evidence. Oh, and to the rest of you, no, I'm not the only adult in the world who likes Pokemon. :) --Improv 20:16, 3 Nov 2004 (UTC)
          • I've heard of this. It's fan fiction. I used to be an operator in the #pokemorphs IRC channel - it's fan fiction, I tell you! Andre (talk) 23:42, Nov 7, 2004 (UTC)
