Your continued public personal attacks[edit]

Your continued personal attacks both here in wikipedia as well as on your blog are innapropriate. Please see the policies of Wikiquette, no personal attacks, and civility. AfDs are for discussing articles and whether they ought to be deleted, not for discussing your personal feelings about other editors. It is best to leave personal notes on talk pages, and best to avoid personal attacks altogether. Dragonfiend 16:13, 22 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, no offense (well, within reason), but I'm going to call things as I see them. You're attempting to dictate notability without knowledge of subject matter, and take pride in it. And your actions are contributing to a wholesale degradation of Wikipedia, to the point where I direct people to more appropriate reference materials. The idea that somehow saying that to you is inappropriate -- and editorializing about it on my own blog is even remotely Wikipedia's business -- is patently ridiculous.Eric Burns 18:06, 22 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Dragonfiend, accusing someone of making personal attacks is serious business. Can you provide links to the edits in question? Making accusations without citing reasons, as you have done, comes across as fairly hostile, even if that was not your intent. Factitious 08:41, 23 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Factitious, I think she's referring to Eric's comments on her talk space, his website, Websnark and Articles for deletion/Checkerboard Nightmare. J•A•K 23:14, 23 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
That's possible, but she hasn't identified any specific edits as being personal attacks. Regardless of whether a foundation could exist, her accusations are as of yet unfounded. Wikipedia:Civility advises against such behavior. Factitious 23:58, 23 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:40, 8 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
