Since I made a suggestion during a discussion of policy regarding area code articles, and since people seem to have agreed with it, I appear to have been assigned the task of implementing it. Below are my notes relating to this project. If you happen by this page, feel free to comment.
To Do[edit]
- Clear red links on List of North American area codes
- Sort "keeper", "merger", and borderline articles
- List any borderline cases for votes
- Move and redirect "keeper" articles
- Move, merge, and (double?) redirect "merger" articles
Notes for later reference / cleanup[edit]
- 555 is listed as an area code, but it's an exchange. will clean that up later.
- Lots of links in descriptions to numbers (years) rather than area code articles. Should go back and have a look.
