Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Irismeister 3/Evidence

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Anyone, whether directly involved or not, may add evidence to this page. Please choose an appropriate header for your evidence and sign your comments with your name.

It is extremely important in order that your submitted evidence be considered by the Arbitrators that when you cite evidence to provide a link to the exact edit which displays the transaction, links to the page itself are not sufficient. For example, to cite the edit by Mennonot to the article Anomalous phenomenon adding a link to Hundredth Monkey use this form: [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/wiki.phtml?title=Anomalous_phenomenon&diff=0&oldid=5584644] [1].

This page is not for general discussion - for that, see talk page.

If you disagree with some evidence you see here, please provide counter-evidence, or an explanation of why the evidence is misleading. Please do this under a seperate header, to seperate your response from the original evidence.

Be aware that the Arbitrators may at times rework this page to try to make it more coherent. If you are a participant in the case or a third party, please don't try to refactor the page, let the Arbitrators do it. If you object to evidence which is inserted by other participants or third parties please voice your objections on the talk page. It is especially important to not remove evidence presented by others.

Description by complainants (User:Pakaran, User:Theresa knott, User:Jwrosenzweig, and others)[edit]

According to Jwrosenzweig, Irismeister's conduct since his last arbitration case continues to show a pattern of POV editing, rudeness, personal attacks, and legal threats -- the "personal attack parole" has been ineffective in curbing his misbehavior (although it causes him to leave for days and weeks at a time, he always returns, exhibiting the same misbehavior), and several editors have requested a long-term ban.

Evidence[edit]

the below is copied from the original arbitration request -- I'll add the template in a sec

Irismeister's comments on Talk:Alternative medicine in particular ([2] [3] [4] [5] [6][7] [8] ) demonstrate that he has not been cowed by the personal attack parole. I think it's clear that the censure and limited sanctions of two previous RFAs are ineffective in solving this problem -- I hope the Arbitration Committee will save itself the inconvenience of continually revisiting this user's legal threats and personal attacks, and impose a long-term ban. Jwrosenzweig 21:45, 11 Oct 2004 (UTC) P.S. While the comments on T:AM are the largest part of the evidence, I think the fairly detailed legal threat posted to an RfAR subpage is worth considering also. Jwrosenzweig 21:54, 11 Oct 2004 (UTC)

P.S. Recent edits include a detailed legal threat and personal attack on Theresa on his userpage [9]. Jwrosenzweig 14:09, 15 Oct 2004 (UTC)
