Physical Insecurity?[edit]

Hi, Noah. Covetousness applies to anything we envy, including others' bodies. Of course, our own body can become an idol as well, which violates #1/#2. Triped 14:34, Jun 2, 2005 (UTC)

But doesn't physical insecurity only effect your own perception of your body? If I think my body looks bad, it doesn't nessicarly mean that I am coveting someone elses body does it? Noah 14:41, Jun 2, 2005 (UTC)

Well, I am operating off of the assumption that that generalized discontent is covetousness. For example, discontentment because I don't have my friend's Porsche is wrong, but so is discontentment because I don't have any Porsche, or any other car. Similarly, I can still covet a better body, even if I couldn't name a specific body I'd like to have (and I can't). It's a very broad commandment, I've sadly found. Triped 16:08, Jun 2, 2005 (UTC)

Unspecified source for Image:Woody guthrie.jpg[edit]

If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference[edit]

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'.
