Have fun! --Jiang 01:54, 10 Aug 2003 (UTC)

Hi-- thanks for your work on Sharon Tate-- I would ask- since you seem to be some of a buff-- that you remove some of the POV stuff from it-- "she was in a funk" -- the "house, which was haunted." This is an encyclopedia-- meaning we have to try to keep a consistent line of NPOV-- its the prime directive here on Wiki. ;) So its Ok to say, "friends claimed she was in a funk" -- or "legend had it that the house was haunted." Id do it but im tired. :) 戴&#30505sv 02:31, 29 Sep 2003 (UTC)
"By 12:30 Sharon, her unborn child, and her friends were all dead. They were victims of a murder carried out by the followers of cult leader and psychopath Charles Manson." -- this kind of paragraph also wont work, for reasons stated above. Try:
"At around 12:30, Sharon Tate and her friends, xx,xx,xx,xx were killed by Charles Manson and his "cult", who took the five by surprise. Manson was charged/not charged with the murder of her unborn child."
also see News style. -戴&#30505sv 02:36, 29 Sep 2003 (UTC)
I should add that I dont know if Manson was charged with the murder of the unborn child-- so I left it as an option.戴&#30505sv 20:46, 29 Sep 2003 (UTC)

trivia[edit]

rather than list trivia, write those items into the article. but please avoid items such as favorite songs. that kind of trivia is not useful to this project. sincerely, Kingturtle 21:09, 5 Jun 2004 (UTC)

  • Nicely done. :) Kingturtle 23:31, 5 Jun 2004 (UTC)

Sharon Tate[edit]

I noticed that you changed a picture from one to another. As the article had plenty of room for two pics, I inserted the old one back in another place. I believe that if there is plenty of room for more pics, more doesn't hurt. WhisperToMe 08:52, 19 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Roman Polanski.jpg[edit]

I am adding proper copyright tags to the vast number of untagged images and I came across Image:Roman Polanski.jpg which you uploaded. If you could tag this image with the proper copyright tag that would be great. I've tagged it as {{unverified}} for now – which means it could be deleted in the future. If you don't want to tag it, let me know where you got the image from on my talk page and I'll tag it for you. Thanks! --MaxPower 19:20, 2005 Jan 21 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Joe DiMaggio, Jr[edit]

A tag has been placed on Joe DiMaggio, Jr requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Wildhartlivie (talk) 09:12, 15 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
