Seems to be the result of a merge -- the intro contradicts itself: first "not for hunting", then later one type is "reared for hunting" -- Tarquin 23:32 Jan 7, 2003 (UTC)
Name change?[edit]
I move that we should rename this article "waterfowl." That is the North American name, and even if it is not used in Britain (I don't know, is it?), it should at least be easily understandable. To me, the name "wildfowl" suggests any kid of wild bird, whereas "waterfowl" clearly suggests only those birds that live in wetland areas. Funnyhat 20:54, 22 Mar 2005 (UTC)
