American Championship Car Racing[edit]

I don't understand the scope of your article on American Championship Car Racing. What exactly is it that you are describing? There doesn't seem to actually be a series named that. If this is, like you say in the intro, just a general history of top open-wheel series in the US, then it should be merged into a more general article, like open wheel racing.
