This is about a guild sent out by one of the popes to kill vampires. It looks like fiction to me. --SeekingOne 02:07, Sep 7, 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete: It appears to be something to do with Maxima, the RPG. At any rate, it's not fact. 1247 Pope sends vampire hunters, eh? Well, since the vampire myth wasn't spread to Italy then, that's out. Knight Templars fighting them. In 1247, that's not in their time frame. The Popes weren't in control of them then (destruction of the order was 1314, wasn't it?). Geogre 02:57, 7 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. This is either a joke or a roleplaying fantasy. The date of the first incident described in this article occurs before the Knights Templar were even formed. Either way, it's incorrect. -- Bobdoe 02:58, 7 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. Contributed by a known vandal. How about a speedy? Trilobite (Talk) 03:30, 7 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete nonsensical fiction before it spreads. -- Cyrius| 03:41, 7 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • I think it might be background from the novel "Vampire$" by John Steakley. Without context, delete. Rossami 05:10, 7 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Undoubtedly fictional. Delete. Average Earthman 09:29, 7 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. The papacy is actually an ally of the vampires. Smerdis of Tlön 16:10, 7 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • From the movie 'Van Helsing'? If so would explain why nobody has heard of it. Delete in any case. DJ Clayworth 20:37, 7 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • No, it's the papacy is against the vampires. The shadow papacy is the one that is allied with the vampires. But shhhh, we're not supposed to talk about that. So, Delete.--Samuel J. Howard 02:10, Sep 8, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete nonsense. Unless it can be associated with a source (book, RPG, whatever) in which case it should be merged. Gwalla | Talk 03:48, 8 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete, though if someone would replace "vampire" with "thingymon" or possible "fancrufty anime character" I would willingly join up. --Ianb 20:28, 8 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • If someone can come up with a book/movie/RPG/whatever source in the next few days (I've tried, without success), then merge & redirect, otherwise delete. —Stormie 04:30, Sep 9, 2004 (UTC)
  • Find out what fictional universe it comes from and either improve or redirect. Mark Richards 19:51, 9 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Mark as fiction for now and merge/improve if we can figure out where it's from, else Delete. Suntiger 01:50, 12 Sep 2004 (UTC)
