Hey! I noticed your edits of some of the classical pianists' articles. We certainly need more active users working on this subject, so - welcome to Wikipedia :) --Missmarple 18:22, 4 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for the welcome. I've only recently discovered that I could contribute to Wikipedia and it's a chance to add the little I know to the subject, especially something I'm passionate about such as Classical Music and the piano. However, learning all the conventions in posting to Wikipedia is taking some time and practice to learn. --Mhare40 21:06, 12 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Welcome![edit]

Greetings, and welcome to Wikipedia. Always delighted to see someone else editing in the classical music sections.

If you haven't found out already, pretty much anything you could hope to read about editing Wikipedia is linked at the Wikipedia:Community portal. (The Wikipedia:Simplified Ruleset is a good overview, though.) I find the five pillars particularly helpful. I hope you stay around! Have you discovered Wikipedia:WikiProject Composers yet? A bunch of us are gradually trying to improve this corner of Wikipedia. --RobertGtalk 07:52, 15 Jun 2005 (UTC)

And another welcome from another musician; nice work so far. Mindspillage (spill yours?) 06:56, 22 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Categorizing classical pianists[edit]

Hello, Mhare40! I remember that you edited some classical pianists' articles in the past, so I would like you to know about this: Wikipedia:Categories for deletion/Log/2006 February 11. I do feel that the 'Classical pianists' category works just perfect right now and would like to keep it just as it is now. Vote if you wish :) --Missmarple 11:04, 12 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cecile Ousset[edit]

A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Cecile Ousset, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. 172.151.95.8 16:20, 7 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Mhare40! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to these articles, it would greatly help us with the current 950 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Cécile Ousset - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
