What is the basis for merging most articles on surrealist techniques into one article? It can't be that the techniques in question are of minor importance, as even techniques of central importance, such as automatic poetry, have been merged there. The fundamental ignorance of the movement by many of those involved in Wikipedia can be characterised by the fact that automatic writing has had its significance in surrealism equated with chocolate coulage, and it has been described as a "surrealist game." --Daniel C.
