This is just an advertisement/press release for this company, devoid of facts MDCore 12:42, 23 Jul 2004 (UTC)

I disagree. Read the article.... it doesn't read like marketing spiel, dressed up with flowery language and superlatives. Do a search at google for Linux and open source in Jamaica or Linux in the Caribbean, you will discover that there is a significantly small number of Linux/Open Source companies in this region, which makes this at least regionally significant.

  • Clean Up: It's a press release at present. Stripped down to its bare facts, without the business-speak, the company might well be notable/unique enough, but the POV has to go. Geogre 13:10, 23 Jul 2004 (UTC)
  • Lose the POV. Keep the article. Arevich 18:56, 23 Jul 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete advertisement for just-started company - does not appear to be notable. Nearly all of the google hits appear to be from TechJamaica.com, and from a "Last 5 Links Added" list at that. -- Cyrius| 19:30, 23 Jul 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete with the utmost prejudice. Follow the link under "David Bain" and the website there tells you that the company just started this month. Postdlf 20:03, 23 Jul 2004 (UTC)
  • I'm all for open source, but this is an ad for a startup: "Alteroo - New Company I'm launching a new company in July". Good luck, but delete. Ianb 20:55, 23 Jul 2004 (UTC)
