Corporatized[edit]
what does corporatized mean?
- don't know. but it's a widely used term in malaysia. 'turned into corporation' maybe. i just derived the content from our own homepage. -- WillSmith (Malaysia)

- Judging by the corporate history page, I'd guess it's the same as "privatised", ie taking a government-owned body and turning it into a private for-profit corporation. ? --Brion 06:23 Oct 23, 2002 (UTC)
Well thats what I assumed but the author kinda snapped at me for suggesting that and said that since he works for a corporation he should know what it is, but he never got around to saying what it is. Lir 10:39 Oct 23, 2002 (UTC)
- Basically "corporatized" is used to mean turning from a government department into a government owned corporate body. It is one step before being "privatised", where the government ownership in the corporated body is sold to private owners. Hence, On November 1, 1996, MIMOS was corporatized as MIMOS Berhad. -- sabre23t 13:25, 27 Aug 2004 (UTC)
