Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs

This is an important treaty that forms the foundation of the international war on drugs. I would like to reorganize the article, however. I was thinking of organizing it similarly to United States Constitution, where each article has its own heading. However, this treaty has some 51 articles, so they would need to be grouped. Let me know if you have any ideas. For convenience, I added a table of contents to Talk:Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs.

There are also a lot of complicated aspects of this treaty; I tried to cover them without being too elaborate or confusing, but maybe those sections (e.g. the section on Schedule IV) could be reworded to make them clearer.

The UN-created Commentary is an invaluable resource for understanding the intent of the framers, but only the first nine paragraphs are available from Drugtext. If anyone can find the rest, please let me know. Thanks, Rad Racer | Talk 04:23, 4 Apr 2005 (UTC)
