Enterprisey

Not all deletes happen through WP:AFD. In this case, Enterprisey was tagged with {{prod}} with the reason given of "nominating prod due to insufficient notability and inability to verify all the claims in the article from a single source". Prod'd articles can be deleted after 5 days. If you wish to have this article resotred, you can click it's red link and add {{delrev}}, then go to Wikipedia:Deletion review and follow the directions there. - UtherSRG (talk) 11:50, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

If you can find a good source on MacGyver, feel free to readd it. For the most part, pop culture sections tend to be repositories of unreferenced cruft. Proposed deletion of Big data

The article Big data has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

"Big" can be applied to very many terms. There is nothing notable about it in relation to "data" any more than there is, for example, with "elephants"; WP:NOTDICT.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Oops - I've been warned for this breach of etiquette known as "canvassing." I went back to everyone involved in the debate regardless of their original vote and notified them. Mea Culpa. So anyways: Congrats on your noticing this concept early. All we needed was proof that secondary sources were talking about the word itself. Only one source, and that dubious. "Goat roper" is a known perjorative for a person of rural background, but this phrase has a totally different meaning, appears to be a WP:NEOLOGISM and falls under WP:NOTDICT
