Date of birth[edit]

I removed the date of birth because it can't be credibly verified. Most web sites agree that J.S. was born on September 13th. Although one site I saw had it listed as being January 1st. The part that they disagree on most is her birthyear. Most have it listed as 1959, while others say 1951, 1952, and 1957. If she was born in 1959 and if her official web site is correct in reporting that she earned her Bachelor's degree in 1975 that would make her quite smart! (har har)

Dismas

In regards to her date of birth, all sites state 1959, even Entertainment Tonight goes by that date, however, she graduated from Ballard High School in 1969 and college in 1975. I do have a 1969 Ballard High School yearbook. A Seattle local program has featured her stating her graduation year.

What does the Ballard High yearbook say? Is she in the senior class for 1969? If that is correct then her birth year is most probably wrong because to graduate from high school at the age of 10 (eight years sooner than most people) is astounding to say the least. I've updated her birth year/category to 1951. USA Weekend recently researched this after a reader who went to high school with Smart wrote to them. They confirmed "Many sources list her birth year as 1959, but Ballard confirms Smart graduated in 1969. She was born Sept. 13, 1951." I've included both print and web references for this since the web reference (which anyone here can view to confirm their story) has not yet been archived and its url may change. Thanks for citing those references! Dismas|(talk) 06:11, 21 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome! I see Imdb updated their site shortly after us. :-) Santress 09:56, 27 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it is a fact she graduated in 1969 and was born in 1951. I asked her today because of the discussion on this page. Also, there is a pic of Jean on the Martha Logan page for 24, but I am unfimiliar with properly adding it to the regular Jean Smart page.

Gov. Pat Jameson killed in Season 1 finale of Hawaii Five-0[edit]

During the Season 1 finale of Hawaii Five-0, Smart's character, Gov. Pat Jameson, was killed by Wo Fat at the conclusion of that episode. Steve McGarrett was framed for that murder. Bill S. (talk) 00:46, 20 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Harr'ys Law[edit]

No mention in this article of Jean's appearances in Harry's Law. So far, she had 3 appearances in Harry's Law's 3rd season where she is credited as a special guest star alongside Alfred Molina. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TJ Reyes (talkcontribs) 10:58, 6 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page[edit]

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Jean Smart’s Children[edit]

Jean Smart’s ”personal life” says she has two sons, Connor Douglas (born 1989) and Forrest (adopted from China in May 2009). Her (now deceased) husband’s ”life” says they have a biological son Connor Douglas (born 1989) and a daughter Bonnie Kathleen (adopted from China in May 2009). Not sure which one is correct, I am assuming it is her husbands since he just recently passed and it seems like it has been a while since her page has been updated. Unless Forrest now identifies as Bonnie, in which case that ends this conversation. 2603:7000:DE03:42C2:355A:B02C:29C6:56A1 (talk) 22:38, 29 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This is potentially a MOS:GENDERID minefield, since a tabloid newspaper has made the assertion that said child is trans. If Page Six is correct, then the information in this article is the most current. —C.Fred (talk) 03:17, 30 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
