Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Hardball

Delete, strange nonsense. Since Topbanana changed this into a nice disambig page, I now vote to keep it. --Stormie 03:35, May 9, 2004 (UTC)

  • Well no, but not much more than a grossly extended and poorly written dicdef, whose only fate is to be deleted. Denni 06:13, 2004 May 8 (UTC)
  • I've replaced the confusing stub with a disambig page. - TB 11:04, 8 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment: Is this really a disambig? It only actually links to a single article (the movie Hardball), which doesn't exist. So isn't it really still a dicdef? Doesn't a disambig need to refer to more than one article? Andrewa 11:31, 8 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
    • Could well be. None of the meanings described seem to be overwhelmingly the most popular, hence the disambig. If it's the case that fewer than two of the meanings described have the potential to become articles then the disambig is unecessary. To me though, that sounds like a challenge :) - TB 11:51, 8 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
      • It's the name of (or even series of) video games. Given the popularity of documenting computer games in Wikipedia I'd suggest some youth will get around to creating a listing for it at some point. Google for Hardball video game gets thousands of hits. --bodnotbod 13:10, May 8, 2004 (UTC)
        • Also a 1989 TV series on NBC now that I google further. - TB 14:10, 8 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
        • And MSNBC talk show (Hardball with Chris Matthews). Andris 14:55, May 8, 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep, an important disambigBurgundavia 07:35, May 13, 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep as disambiguation. --Zigger 18:48, 2004 May 13 (UTC)
