  • My own vote is less clear. While the phrase gets good Google hits, they all seem to be Wikipedia and its derivatives plus a few blogs. On the other hand, the article is well-written and has been edited since July 2003 by a variety of editors. Tentative keep. Rossami 23:53, 25 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. I recall something similar to this idea being floated around during the 2000 U.S. election, but never under this name or as this exact philosophy. -Sean Curtin 01:23, Aug 26, 2004 (UTC)
  • Weak keep. "liquid democracy" -wikipedia -freedictionary brings the hit count down to about 380. But, as Rossami points out, it is better written and longer than many articles, and while there seem to be only three primary contributors, several other Wikipedians have considered it worthy of fixing typos and what not in the 13 months its been here. And since it's a relatively new concept (AFAIK), I think the #of hits should be judged accordingly. Niteowlneils 01:32, 26 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete: Simply not notable, and the page is advocacy, IMO. After it achieves further real world notability, the entry will be warranted. Geogre 02:18, 26 Aug 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete. I'm a poli sci major and I don't ever recall hearing this term. Is this something real or merely someone's idealistic proposal? If it is something substantive, either having been implemented somewhere or having a substantial basis in the poli sci literature, then cover it with direct democracy, which he says this is a form of. • Delete. It's just a proposal floating around the internet as far as I can tell. Isomorphic 21:26, 26 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep: Liquid democracy is already a part of the vocabulary of many people in international politics. 217.231.18.120 02:10, 27 Aug 2004 (UTC)
    • Both anonymous users will need to register and sign their votes in order to be counted. Interesting coincidence that they're both from the 217.231.* range. -Sean Curtin 04:59, Aug 27, 2004 (UTC)
