Nathan Bedford Forrest[edit]

Dear FrankP,
Thank you for inviting me to contribute to the Talk page for Nathan Bedford Forrest. Just maybe, someday, I might have something more to say. For the time being, I don't have time to study the article, the Talk page, or Forrest himself with enough care to help. Oaklandguy (talk) 00:38, 15 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Omer Tarin article[edit]

Hello and thanks for your edits to this article . I am working on it also and have tried to make some amendments and edits as suggested and hope to make more , and add further reliable secondary sources after some research. It is very much a work in progress and I hope to be able to expand and develop over time. Many thanks AsadUK200 (talk) 05:09, 8 January 2020 (UTC)AsadUK200[reply]

Hello, please see the changes and additions of references I have made to this article on Omer Tarin. Kindly advise if the references are ok? Also, I have given a longish explanation to one reference which related to the interest on poet Tarin in Buddhism and Japanese culture and a comparison with the similar work of Zulfikar Ghose (another Pakistani origin poet and writer) , as compared in a published monograph. I am not sure is this is too verbose and lengthy. I would appreciate your help, in improving this too, thanks. AsadUK200 (talk) 21:24, 11 January 2020 (UTC)AsadUK200[reply]

Thanks for Help on Omar Tareen and others[edit]

I am grateful for the help and time you gave to the pages that many others apart from me tried to correct on account of the same observations as yours. However, it would be very disrespectful and immature response one would get from an editor who's now answering your swiftly and still thinks he can make them look authentic. Can Wikipedia essay be cited with unpublished papers? or even primary sources published over unknown websites? These concerns od mine were always taken as disruptive editing, vandalism and even some would counter my good faith edits with vandalisms on other pages also. I hope these pages are rephrased the way anyone could learn something from. I wil myself abstain from edits on these pages because I know what purpose they serve but would leave these to be corrected by other editors.

Regards and Many Thanks Azmarai76 (talk) 10:23, 8 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I am sorry to see that the editor Azmarai76 is still making rather negative comments. Why is he assuming that only he is doing things in good faith? I have been editing here on Wikipedia for some time now and my edits can all be seen and checked. Maybe other editors dont agree with some of my sources, as per Wikipedia rules I am trying to improve my edits all the time. In academia, primary resource sources are generally accepted if the sources are given and enlisted properly and in detail. It is also not right to imagine that all reliable sources are available online on the Net as that is just not correct. I have always cited the sources time and again and anyone can check them up with a little bit of research in various libraries and archives. I dont know why this editor is so inimical and making many personal attacks that make no sense. Wikipedia is an open encyclopedia and many people edit it and its not anyone's personal property. Anyway I am not here to quarrel and I shall continue to do my work on articles of my interest and I am thankful to all, for their feedback and help. Advice on Category X[edit]

Dear Frank! I have understood what you mean ... you have been a great help won't ignore your guidance on the subject from now on. Many regards and thanks. Azmarai76 (talk) 01:36, 10 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please be careful. Editors are supposed to copy & paste template anew instead of overwriting preceding request as you did here. NedFausa (talk) 22:24, 11 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, sorry about that. I did it too hastily. Point taken, thanks for letting me know. FrankP (talk) 20:55, 13 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
