Can I suggest that it is proper to entitle this article 'Metropolitan Anthony of Sourozh' and not 'Anthony Bloom'? It is customary in the Orthodox Church to title such articles about hierarchs by their episcopal names and titles - to not do so generally insinuates to an Orthodox a lack of respect for the hierarch.

He's more widely known by Anthony Bloom due to his publishing under that name and other public activities. Wikipedia articles are usually named by whatever is the most common reference for their subject. —A.S. Damick talk contribs 20:09, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, not as far as I'm aware he's not. I don't think I've ever heard anyone call him 'Anthony Bloom' rather than 'Metropolitan Anthony' (now of blessed memory). He was ordained a Bishop since 1957, and I'm not sure many of the Wikipedia community remember him from his pre-episcopal days. Again, to refuse to list him primarily under his episcopal title is seen in the Orthodox Church as a lack of respect both to the man and to his episcopacy. Active disrespect is hardly compatible with neutrality?

Would it not be better to refer references to 'Anthony Bloom' to an entry entitled 'Metropolitan Anthony of Sourozh'?
