"classic remakes such as One Horse Town" -- a remake of what? -- Tarquin 18:50, 6 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

2008 Post[edit]

Why did JGXEnite delete my Shrek Goes Fourth reference? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.36.25.25 (talk) 11:51, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It is unsourced, and don't you have anything better to do with your time, aside from getting your schools blocked from editing Wikipedia? ~~ [ジャム][t - c] 12:11, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

2009 Post[edit]

I deleted the comments made regarding a break-up because they are clearly false, had no sources, and the author's lack of consideration for the band and the factual content on this page. User:Tauiwi09 —Preceding undated comment added 06:56, 31 August 2009 (UTC).[reply]

September 1st Update[edit]

I have made a huge effort to update the page, with information, history and charting information, all sourced. Hopefully others can contribute to this if they have any valuable information that can be credibly sourced. Tauiwi09 (talk) 12:28, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Although a cover photo is still required, does anyone have one they have taken themselves and have the rights to? Tauiwi09 (talk) 14:24, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Band Break-up[edit]

I noticed this comment has been added, can it be verified please? Tauiwi09 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 03:06, 6 September 2009 (UTC).[reply]

- This is categorically untrue, and is entirely made up by a person attempting to spread false information for some unknown reason. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.97.254.100 (talk) 15:32, 9 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Band 'Break Up'[edit]

A user has been repeatedly posting this statement on this page, even after repeated deletion - "Conor Deasy released a statement on behalf of the band on the 4th September 2009 announcing that the band had called it a day and would not be touring or releasing any new material, citing reasons including musical differences, being dropped by their label and changes to their own personal circumstances." This is absolutely and categorically untrue, and is being posted repeatedly by a person clearly with an agenda, trying to mislead Wikipedia users and others for some unknown reason.

The Warehouse Studio[edit]

Claims that the band recorded in a former Vancouver morgue are not exactly true. It served as Vancouver's city hall and after the great fire did "hold" some of the dead, but it was never officially a morgue. As well, the use of the term "inner city" is a little odd as it conjures up images of a ghetto which the Powell St area is not. It is near the major tourist area of Gastown and is primarily an area of pricey renovated artists lofts. It ain't Harlem, that's for sure.

Indie Rock?[edit]

I wonder if the author, actually realizes what the term "Indie Rock" means. The Thrills were for the most part of their career signed under Virgin Records (which is not an independent label) and therefore they are not an independent band or indie rock. Indie Rock menas a rock band under an independent label, and the Thrills are not. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Keithzworld (talkcontribs) 17:08, 17 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
