I'm a senior at the University of Massachusetts @ Amherst, majoring in Linguistics & Psychology with an Honors GPA. I have studied 24 languages in over 45 individual courses (all recorded on my transcript). As a freshman I was invited to 4 Ph.D. courses in ancient Germanic languages. I'm also a member of 2 national honor societies: HΣΦ & ALANAI.

Although I am highly talented and skilled in Linguistics (and a firm believer of Optimality Theory), my love lies in Psychology with interests in Philosophy.

My mother majored in French (studying other languages as well) at the Catholic University of Ponce, Puerto Rico. My father is from Portugal, a master sargeant in the US Army, and has a degree from Johnson & Wales University. My sister is an Honours History major at the University of Lincoln in England, and my brother is a student at Bristol College (US) who studies Astronomy and Biology.
