expansion[edit]

Expanded brief synopsis (exceedingly so) and introduced some of the themes within the novel. --Lejend 21:21, 4 Apr 2005 (UTC)

POV[edit]

Call for cleanup for hagiographic descriptions (of the author as "brilliant", etc.) in the "Analysis" section. Please confine all discussions of the article's POV problems to this section. Thanks. 24.106.184.123 (talk) 00:52, 23 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Not to mention the intro section is a POV statement. Someone familiar with this book needs to clean this up.Millertime246 (talk) 00:56, 23 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

copyvio[edit]

Most of this article reads like a carbon copy of the Princeton review of the book. Surely this is a blatant copyvio? Peter morrell 06:49, 10 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • I think that on closer examination you will find that the text of the Princeton review is sourced to Wikipedia. Buistr (talk) 09:20, 3 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Radio in 1960s[edit]

I am pretty sure that there was a BBC radio play adaptation of the novel in the early 1960s (or perhaps the late 50s). I never realised it was a novel until much later. Has anybody got any details on this radio play version? Silent Billy (talk) 08:45, 20 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Think you might be referring to this broadcast from 1961. Also I'm sure I remember another adaptation by Radio 4 in around 2000, though I haven't been able to find any details about that one. MFlet1 (talk) 11:29, 21 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Addition of ISBN from Wikidata[edit]

Please note that this article's infobox is retrieving an ISBN from Wikidata currently. This is the result of a change made to {{Infobox book}} as a result of this RfC. It would be appreciated if an editor took some time to review this ISBN to ensure it is appropriate for the infobox. If it is not, you could consider either correcting the ISBN on Wikidata (preferred) or introducing a blank ISBN parameter in the infobox to block the retrieval from Wikidata. If you do review the ISBN, please respond here so other editors don't duplicate your work. This is an automated message to address concerns that this change did not show up on watchlists. ~ RobTalk 01:23, 15 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
