Why I removed the Orlando reference: The short version is that I don't think that knowledge of Orlando helps one understand Dryden's essay, though knowledge of Dryden's essay may help one understand Orlando; therefore, it's proper that the Orlando article link to the Dryden essay and not so much the other way around. Dorset is a fascinating figure, and he's really the person Woolf is interested in (rather than Dryden). At any rate, that's why I cut the See Also. It seemed a little distracting. The essay is not a work of dramaturgy. A work of dramaturgy means in simple words, a theatre play, and this essay is obviously not such. So I'm removing that sentence--Rataube 15:25, 18 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Missing or unneeded information:[edit]

The information about the plague should either be expanded or removed. Since the plague is not mentioned again in the article, it is unnecessary to include in the introduction. However, if the plague is vital to the essay (why it was written or influences in its content) it should be elaborated on in the content. Noillimog (talk) 01:35, 12 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
