The first suggestion was correct. Despite sources describing this album's sound as alternative metal or grunge, this album is clearly a groove metal album. Sure, Dave Jerden brought the grunge influences but Anthrax had still made a groove metal album. Calling this album grunge is incorrect because it doesn't sound like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, or Soundgarden. Calling it alternative metal is incorrect because it sounds too much more like groove metal, heavy metal, and even thrash metal to an extent. Alternative metal existing at the time was stuff like Alice in Chains, Helmet, early Tool, and Deftones which sounds nothing like Sound of White Noise. Sound of White Noise sounds considerably more groove/heavy metal than most alternative metal albums of the time. Therefore, the primary genre should be groove metal with heavy metal and alternative metal listed behind it. StatesAndMinds (talk) 22:40, 27 May 2015 (UTC)

Hi-Pro-Glo

I was trying to find out a little bit more about the meaning of Hi-Pro-Glo, and I even found some clips from the dog food commercial. However according to some (probably dubious) sources such as Urban Dictionary, the term High-Pro Glow became a slang (originated from this commercial) that has sexual connotation (i.e.: the looks of a woman after orgasm). I don't know how accurate this is, but it does seems on par with the intention of the song's lyrics. I didn't live in the US during the 80s so I didn't catch-up with this slang; but perhaps the song is not a direct referent to the commercial itself, but to the slang (or alleged slang)? --Pinnecco (talk) 04:13, 24 August 2010 (UTC)
