It's Miller Time[edit]

As said in the famous "Ghostbusters" movie: It's Miller Time. This phrase should be mentioned in the wiki page, as it is part of pop culture. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.5.36.116 (talk) 23:07, 2 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Miller/Coors Merger (NOT!)[edit]

SABMiller, its subsidiary Miller Brewing Company and Molson Coors have NOT merged, they formed a joint venture to produce and distribute their beer products jointly in the United States, the corporate operations of SABMiller (Miller Brewing's parent) and Molson Coors remain separate and independent from each, in fact both companies are publicly traded, SABMiller (LSESAB, JSE: SAB) and Molson Coors (NYSETAP, TSXTPX.B), further the international operations of both companies remain part of each of the parent companies so to say that the two companies have merged is GROSSLY incorrect. 71.101.84.3 (talk) 03:55, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Neutrality?[edit]

This whole article does not at all read like an encyclopedia article. It's more like a press release.

Firstly, the article paints Miller in an overwhelmingly positive light.

Second, the list of products is has a serious degree of needless detail. I'm okay with a list of beers produced by Miller, but I don't need to hear what token awards Miller paid for, or tidbits of trivia about a beer's history (unless, of course, that beer has real historical relevance). It would be sufficient to describe the color, the hops used, and the alcohol content — but that's not the case here.

Sold to Molson Coors .. article change[edit]

The company was sold ... I revised the article and added this info; also and info as to how that affects certain brands.

I'm not sure that just changing the name of the owner of the company to Molson Coors is all that needs to be done to this article.

I deleted the entire section about Miller Brands. Someone who has a better understanding of how the sale to Molson Coors affects the brands might want to add them back to the article (from a previous version). Peter K Burian (talk) 22:22, 29 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

MGD[edit]

Why did Miller Brewing Co. Stop making MGD 50.5.101.11 (talk) 21:58, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

They didn't. It's still made, it's just not as popular as it once was and therefore many stores don't carry it anymore or stock much less of it. You may need to ask for it specifically.
That said, Wikipedia talk pages are for discussing what goes into the article, not general questions about the subject. The article correctly notes that MGD is still around, just not as popular (unlike High Life, which remains popular.) oknazevad (talk) 03:55, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
