New Barcelona[edit]

As per scope, the articles of Nova Barcelona and New Barcelona (duplicates), which deal with 1735–38 history, should be merged into the history section.--Zoupan 18:14, 9 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose. The duplicates have now merged, and I'd argue shouldn't be merged in on the grounds that, while the region in which Nova Barcelona existed is now within the suburb boundaries of Zrenjanin, the town itself was sufficiently distinct in origin from the current settlement that it is worth distinguishing its history on the existing separate page. Closing, given lack of support over almost 2 years. Klbrain (talk) 12:14, 5 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

name in rusyn[edit]

in the article it is stated that in rusyn the name of the city is Зрењанин. i doubt that rusyn cyrillic script has that letter "њ", which is only found in serbian cyrillic script. given that rusyn might be not that standardised ("different orthographies have been developed, in most cases using variants of the cyrillic script), i would suggest to transcribe the name à la bulgare or à la russe. something like Зренянин. just a suggestion though.Sacdegemecs (talk) 02:55, 27 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
