Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dragon Ball Z Live Action Movie

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This page does not contain factual information about the movie it is about. While there is a movie in pre-production (that may never get made), nearly all the information presented here are fanboy dreams that have no basis in reality. The Talk page contains only young people that want roles in the film. What real information it contains is masked to the point that it would be difficult to filter out the improbable rumors. An alternative article on the history of the production process would be okay, but very difficult to research due to the wealth of misinformation on the topic and the secretiveness of the film process. An article could be written on the Chinese live-action Dragon Ball ripoff, but that fits better elsewhere. I suggest deleting it for now and re-create if a movie ever surfaces or when there is encyclopedic information to present on the topic. JRP

  • If this article doesn't contain verifiable facts, and there is any doubt that the film will actually be made, delete. Take fanboy gossip elsewhere, please.Average Earthman 12:54, 18 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete: This is an article about a thing that does not exist. It doesn't even exist as much as the "Michael Moore Hates America" foolishness does(n't). The discussion tab brought a tear to my eye for the touching naivette. Geogre 13:26, 18 Aug 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete future movie. Content and notability are inherently unverifiable. Rossami 15:02, 18 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep. The page is worth it alone for the discussion page (maybe save that somewhere). Entertainment value has a place at Wikipedia. Anyone called Ferina's cell phone number yet pretending to be a producer? Hmmm... ;-) I see Clooney as Goku.
  • Delete fanfic. This all appears to be completely phony, with the exception of Fox holding the rights. .-- Cyrius| 05:29, 22 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • I can't vote on my own VFD, but even FUNimation believes that the movie is dead. http://www.dragonballz.com/index2.cfm?page=live JRP
