First Five Albums[edit]

Anyone else agree that the following passage should either be deleted or expounded upon..."with no original track recordings from the first five albums made before 1979."

My reasoning is that it should come as no surprise that there is nothing on this greatest hits album that originated on the first five albums for two reasons. First, those songs appeared on "The Best of ZZ Top". Second, the band was signed to London for their first five albums. This Greatest Hits album covers their Warner Bros years through 1992.

Or, keep it SIMPLE...replace the entire paragraph starting at "It is notable..." with something like "All songs come from the albums Deguello (1979) through Afterburner (1985) with the exceptions of Tush, La Grange, Viva Las Vegas, and Gun Love."

The point is that the existing paragraph, as written, is cluttered and confusing. FiggazWithAttitude (talk) 15:05, 30 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Since there was no objection over the last ~17 months I went ahead and did it. FiggazWithAttitude (talk) 21:55, 10 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
