The "published irregularly" blurb was my own error; I read their publication page wrong. It's published bi-montly, as it has been since 1988.

I also plan to expand this article more; the magazine is quite popular and quite controversial in Conservative Christian circles.

RPW[edit]

Can someone supply a reference supporting the statement that C/A promotes the "rejection of the Calvinist doctrine known as the regulative principle of worship"? I found references to the RPW in C/A, but they seemed to point more toward a different perspective on the doctrine rather than an outright rejection of it.

Controversy[edit]

I think the controversy section is a bit shabby. Paedocommunion is already mentioned above, and high church liturgy isn't all that controversial except in micropresbyterian denominations (the conservative Presbyterian Church in America allows it, for instance). The criticism/controversy should be cited from reliable sources, but it should be with regard to C/A's particular position, not high church liturgy in general. I think the section could be integrated into the rest of the article without the big heading since there doesn't seem to be all that much controversy about the magazine itself. --Flex (talk/contribs) 13:48, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Umm... yes, I agree... I hate to ask this, but wan't it you who introduced high church liturgy into the article? StAnselm 14:19, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I did add the bit about high church liturgy only as an attempt to clarify the existing, vague objection about the regulative principle, which was added by the creator of the article. Anyway, let's go ahead with the suggested changes. (PS, I notice you sometimes use bullet points in your responses. May I humbly recommend that you use only colons except on AfDs and the like - cf. WP:TPG#Layout?) --Flex (talk/contribs) 14:38, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Sure. StAnselm 14:43, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
