Spelling[edit]
The spelling on this page is inconsistent. It should be either "Wan Chai" throughout, or "Wanchai" throughout, but instead, it swaps back and forth. I have no idea which one is right. --Tb 05:15 16 Jul 2003 (UTC)
- Wan Chai and Wanchai are both right. Both are used in Hong Kong. But I guess Wan Chai is the offical name. Wshun
Doesn't matter to me. :) That means there are three possibilities: pick one version and use it consistently, or start off with "Wan Chai, or Wanchai, is ..." --Tb 05:33 16 Jul 2003 (UTC)
Not a tourist agent[edit]
Wikipedia is not a tourist agent. Simply a link to website containing information on hotels and bars are enough. No need to write it here. Wshun
Admiralty[edit]
Admiralty is in the C&W district. Should clarify the difference between Wanchai as a place, and Wanchai district convering Wanchai, Causeway Bay, Happy Valley, Jardine's Lookout, etc.
History[edit]
I remember back when I was a little kid, Wan Chai was famous for the presence of many sailors whenever the 7th fleet of the US Navy had a shore leave in Hong Kong. Generations of American sailors probably remember Wan Chai quite different from what is described in this article. What I means is that the article is missing a major piece of history shared by many Americans. This article reads more like a government description from the district brochure from the city council than an encyclopedia materia. Kowloonese 23:14, August 8, 2005 (UTC)

Rewrite[edit]
This page should be a general page about Wan Chai, Wan Chai North, Causeway Bay, Happy Valley ad Tai Hang. Too little useful information is included in the page, lacking comprehensiveness. Some contents are even a bit subjective. New York City would be a very good example to follow, so as to tidy up this entry. -- Jerry Crimson Mann 10:54, 8 Jun 2005 (UTC)
