Who keeps changing 97.5 The Blaze and 105.1 The Blaze to Simmons Media Group?[edit]

Who in the world keeps changing 97.5 The Blaze and 105.1 The Blaze to Simmons Media Group? Sorry to be very blunt but you are a moron! Go to www.millcreekslc.com and/or TheBlazeOnline.com. If you don't believe that The Blaze 97.5 is on that site you shouldn't be editing Utah's Radio Stations. Obviously, anyone in Utah can tune to 97.5 The Blaze and/or 105.1 The Blaze and verify that, that is their site.

So please freakin stop changing the company. It is Millcreek Broadcasting!

  • Also, just another note: 94.9 FM is NOT silent. They are stunting The Blaze (who broadcasts on 94.9 and 105.1). Stunting means they are airing fake phone calls, exact same sweepers and voice overs as The Blaze. They are pretending to be The Blaze. Again, don't belive me that it's not silent? Tune to 94.9 FM in Utah! Not living in Utah? DON'T BE EDITING UTAH RADIO STATION PAGES!

Added channel 58 to the TV list. Weird station that shows 70s-era TV shows, infomercials, and -- most strangely -- low-quality (almost amateur) independent productions (check out Retro Jams Sunday Night, for example). Their call sign indicates they also broadcast on Channel 3 in Price.

I notice that SLUG has been added as a magazine, but that a link to the magazine's site was put here instead of a red wikilink. I have no problem with that personally, but we couldn't do that to the whole list because "Wikipedia is not a web directory". Maybe we could write these like:

I agree...I didn't add that link, and was pondering it last night, but was too tired to think too hard on it...I think if someone wants a link to SLUG, and they care about the mag, they should write an article about it, and then add an external link...

Low power/Translator stations[edit]

I am going to remove K68FY from the list of television stations. Stations with this format of call sign are almost always translator stations. As these are just rebroadcasts of another stations content, I don't think they should be included on the list. Only stations that provide unique material. Comments? Links to cities[edit]

There seems to be no system for what mentions of a city get a link. I would recommend that a city get a link only for the first time it is mentioned in the article; but I could understand the argument for once per section. I would go ahead with the change now, but I figure two major changes to the TV section is enough for one day. Comments? A 09:15, 4 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

When I first created the article, it was indeed the first mention of the cities' names. However, subsequent editors have apparently gone in and linked or unlinked as they saw fit (probably weren't paying attention) and now it appears there is no system in place. Listen? derived its name from and experience Dutch had while driving home after being discharged from the navy. Dutch's sister, Teasa, died of a drug overdose the day before he was supposed to leave for bootcamp. Despite the overwhelming pleadings of friend and family Dutch deployed directly after the funeral. Thinking of nothing more than the loss of his sisters life, Dutch created Listen? as a forum for creation. 103.1 from Sunny to The Wave[edit]

Hi, I just updated the listing on 103.1 from Sunny to The Wave. I also listed the format as "New Wave Music" since there is no Wiki page for a New Wave format and "New Wave Music" links to the correct page with all the history, bands, etc.
