Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jonson

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jonson was proposed for deletion. This page is an archive of the discussion about the proposed deletion. This page is no longer live. Further comments should be made on the article's talk page rather than here so that this page is preserved as an historic record. The result of the debate was to redirect the article to Ben Jonson.

unable to verify. Google search of name "miketro jonson" reveals 0 hits, same for "miketro johnson" (for spelling). Wolfman 02:14, 8 Nov 2004 (UTC)

  • Redirect to Ben Jonson, as he is often referred to by his last name only, and it is more than a little likely that people will forget his first name and want to find him by his last name only. I will not do this without giving folks a little time, but, were the person described in the article real and really notable, he wouldn't be in under his last name only. • Redir to Ben Jonson; agree with Geogre; if there turns out to be another Jonson we can make a disambig page. Antandrus 06:32, 8 Nov 2004 (UTC)
    • Note: After allowing a day for dissent to be lodged, I made the page a redirect. Voters can still see the original content by looking in the history of the redirect page. Geogre 15:33, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC)

This page is now preserved as an archive of the debate and, like other '/delete' pages is no longer 'live'. Subsequent comments on the issue, the deletion or on the decision-making process should be placed on the relevant 'live' pages. Please do not edit this page.
