Incorrect information[edit]

This article begins by stating their stage names and then "The name of the group is an alphabetism derived from the first letter of each member's name." However this is contradicted later when it is revealed that these are not their real names, but names that were drafted in order to fit the name S.H.E. that had already been decided. So, in actuality the names of members are an "alphabetism" derived from the letters of the group name, not the other way around.Promontoriumispromontorium (talk) 21:24, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

VFD[edit]

Are you listing S.H.E. on VFD or not? Because if you're not, you need to remove the deletion notice and get an admin to delete the VFD page for the entry. --Lowellian 01:43, Oct 4, 2004 (UTC)

I want to but I couldn't get it working properly for some reason, and then when I went back to search for the article S.H.E. there was nothing found so I thought one of the admins might have insta-deleted it. I would still like to list it as a VfD though, could you help me get it working properly? --Alex Krupp 02:01, Oct 4, 2004 (UTC)

Well...hold on. First, it's extremely unlikely that if you list this page on VFD, it will actually get deleted, and second, I will vote against the article being deleted if you list it. I'm not sure of your background, so you may not be aware that S.H.E. is a hugely popular band in East Asia (the equivalent of, say, Britney Spears in the United States), and they definitely deserve an article. We're not talking some obscure band operating out of a garage here; we're talking a group of singers with multi-million dollar contracts. Far more obscure bands than S.H.E. have survived VFD.

Having said that, it is your right to list the article on VFD if you want, so I can help you get it working properly if you insist on going ahead with it. --Lowellian 06:41, Oct 4, 2004 (UTC) (Oh, and by the way, I generally prefer people to post responses to my comments on my talk page, because it helps get my attention.)

OK I'm not actually against there being an entry for this band, but is there a reason why it has their heights and favorite colors? --Alex Krupp

If you think some of the content is non-encyclopedic, either edit the content or list it on Wikipedia:Cleanup by using the {{cleanup}} tag, but do not list it on VFD unless the article should not exist at all. I've removed the VFD tag and deleted the VFD page. --Lowellian 18:14, Oct 4, 2004 (UTC)

Is that a crime? User:Themoliugecko 22:40, Mar 1, 2005

Ella is my cousin. Please include a picture as you did with the other girls. Also mention their commercial work for Coke and Blizzard Entertainment. Additionally, why the *&(^? is there a list of their family members?

Hmm.. hugely popular in East Asia. I don't think they are popular in South Korea and Japan? I think it only applies to Chinese speaking countries. mirageinred 01:55, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you have not aware, they have just attended a entrepreneur concert in Japan late last year which further proves that they are decently popular in Japan. EricOng 10:06, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Interwiki[edit]

Should we link this article with the Chinese version? User:Themoliugecko

Of course! —Lowellian (reply) 13:07, 28 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Tone[edit]

I have tagged this article for tone cleanup; I feel that it reads more like a fan bio on the group than an encyclopaedic entry. The Jade Knight 09:15, 18 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Well, the bio was actually provided by the company themselves. Trenzterra 23:52, 10 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Covers and non-covers[edit]

Our current text mentions that GEO of Sweetbox wrote some of the S.H.E songs and then later performed them with his own band (essentially covering his own work). While I could believe this, it would be an unusual situation and I think we need a citation. What's the source?

The information is now sourced (and has been for a while). Thanks. -Pandacomics 12:08, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Give Me More[edit]

Okay. Something seems a bit fishy. "Give Me More" (Gei Wo Duo Yi Dian) is listed on the internet as the cover of Charlie's "There you go again" and is said to be composed by "Charlie Pennachio/Shaunna Bolton/Drew Sessa". However, I went on Charlie's site, and found the album that "There You Go Again" was on:

"Here Comes Trouble" (1982, Polydor)
Jealous • There You Go Again • Five Years • Writing On The Wall • Literary Love • Take The Money • Don't Stand In My Way • Only Dreaming • Mind Your Own Business • Zero
All songs written by Terry Thomas, except "Literary Love" and "Zero" (Colbeck, Thomas) and "Jealous", "Writing On The Wall" and "Mind Your Own Business" (Anderson, Colbeck, Gadd, Organ, Thomas).

If all songs are written by Terry Thomas, then who are Pennachio, Bolton and Sessa? That, and is "There You Go Again" really the song that's being covered? -Pandacomics 00:19, 19 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind, found the album. And the song. Turns out the rights were bought or something by EMI, where the above three probably work. Pandacomics 03:06, 25 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I tried to verify this for MusicBrainz, but listening to the songs there seems to be no relationship, see Talk:List of S.H.E covers and parodies. Foolip (talk) 14:59, 16 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Their background[edit]

The "crying under the blankets part on its own can be omitted, but it gives the reader a background on how they stayed as a group instead of continually disputing, which is probably not the case considering they've lasted for more than a day. Sure, we can reword it to make it sound more neutral, like "Oh they got along afterwards", but by omitting that last bit, it gives the reader a sense that this group remains in constant turmoil, which it is not. -Pandacomics 20:31, 20 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The impression I got from the article was that it sounded more like a cute, interesting story told in a casual tone, but not very encyclopedic. I'm not sure how to accurately put in into words, but the so-called biography section has little information about their career. mirageinred 01:52, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I just looked at the topics posted above, and I see that User:Jade Knight already pointed out what I said. And as a response to his comment, we can't just use the biography provided by the company. because it would be a copyright infringement and also because it would not be NPOV. mirageinred 01:54, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
But I'm sure we can at least put something along the lines of "but they got along afterwards" -Pandacomics 04:09, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Public Fan Forums[edit]

I am sick and tired of seeing people erase others' forums just so they can put up their own. This will only lead to unnecessary edit wars where people continually put up or put down names of forums. Unless something is proven to be an OFFICIAL S.H.E online entity (blog, website, whatever), then please refrain from putting it on the external links list. Exceptions will be given to translations of material proven to be written by S.H.E, e.g. the S.H.E Daybook, which is a direct translation of their blog on the HIM International website. By "proven" I mean by proving its legitimacy other than just textual evidence. Anyone can copy and paste text from an official site and put it up on another web portal e.g. myspace. Thank you for your understanding. If you have qualms with this, please discuss it here or on my talk page.

P.S. Referring to Wikipedia:External Links, Section 4: Links normally to be avoided,
"3. Links mainly intended to promote a website."

Under Section 4.1: Advertising and conflicts of interest,
"Due to the rising profile of Wikipedia and the amount of extra traffic it can bring a site, there is a great temptation to use Wikipedia to advertise or promote links. This includes both commercial and non-commercial sites. You should avoid linking to a website that you own, maintain or represent, even if the guidelines otherwise imply that it should be linked. If the link is to a relevant and informative site that should otherwise be included, please consider mentioning it on the talk page and let neutral and independent Wikipedia editors decide whether to add it. This is in line with the conflict of interests guidelines." -Pandacomics 08:54, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Biography[edit]

Great to see initiative taken by user Pandacomics for all these articles and references. EricOng 10:42, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Albums Section[edit]

I want to put in their soundtrack contributions, but if I extend the album section further, it will be a lengthy, unattractive read. What do people think about:

  • Reducing the size of the album covers' images.
  • Arranging the covers in both rows and columns. Although I admit, for this one, seeing "Label: HIM International" will seem messy and simply ruin what we already have.

Please comment. -Pandacomics 04:04, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

GA Fail[edit]

Just to let you know, any article can get a peer-review, close or far away to FA status.

  • Ok first sentence, S.H.E is a Taiwanese girl group famous in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia,Singapore, other parts of Asia, and in some overseas Asian communities. Famous is POV, whats the point of saying they're famous in x, y, z, other parts of x and a. Just say who they are, what they sing (pop) and when they formed
  • Is it implied when the article mentions when they celebrated their fifth anniversary?
  • The group consists of Selina Ren, Hebe Tian, and Ella Chen. The group's name is an alphabetism derived from the first letter of each member's name. These sentences have no flow modified
  • success as a group, POV removed
  • they are one of the most popular groups in Asia., per above removed
  • extraordinary album and concert sales, I'm going to stop the POV stuff too much just in the lead. removed
  • Biography, has no references all except the girls dorm section, will get the book SOON. argh.
  • References come after puncuation [11]; should be ;[11] fixed
  • January 23, 2003, wikilink dates with a year and day fixed
  • Members, has one sentence paragraphs describing the members, just list the members section removed
  • Images have no Fair use rationales moved; there is fair use rationale when you click on the images
  • A trivia section, this is not encyclopedic material, remove the trivia section and incorporate it into the body if you wish. done
  • The references describe where to find the sourced information, no need it just bloats the references. Provide a title, publisher (website), author (if there is one) and date retrieved. descriptions removed
  • Reference 16 isn't formatted properly formatted

The images are certainly pushing fair use, with the amount of fair use images used in this it will never be an FA, I suggest a peer-review. M3tal H3ad 07:22, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

About the fair use rationales, there are currently none. They are tagged as fair use but have no rationale, check this image Image:Slayer eagle.jpg and Image:Reign in blood.jpg for what a rationale is. M3tal H3ad 11:50, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, added rationale, but I'd like to know if you approve of it first (p.s. I just copied your box because you're using the images for essentially the same purpose) -Pandacomics 13:01, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pictures[edit]

Anyone have any ideas for adding pictures to the otherwise text-only biography section? I've tossed around the idea of just sticking album covers, but that doesn't do their biography justice, really. Other ideas? -Pandacomics 10:31, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It could be great to put in some of their achievements pictures. I absolutely agree with this. EricOng 16:06, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps a picture of them in a advertisement mentioned. M3tal H3ad 12:40, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think some of you will remember the incident that the picture depicts. -Pandacomics 11:56, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Eras or Year-by-year-format?[edit]

I would personally prefer the Eras format over the year format. Just my humble opinion. EricOng 08:05, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How would we split the eras then? Girls Dorm is an obvious one, but do we put GD with Youth Society, or Youth Society with Genesis? Here's my splitting:

1. GD + YS
2. Mei Li Xin Shi Jie + Together + Super Star
3. Qi Huan Lü Cheng + Encore
4. BXZD + Forever

Or you could pile BXZD with the 2004 albums. I don't know. Your thoughts? -Pandacomics 12:53, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pile BXZD with the 2004 albums? I thought BXZD was released at 2005? EricOng 01:58, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, but it's the only album in 2005, and it wouldn't make sense to put BXZD as its own era (because that would make Forever its own era, which it isn't, really.) -Pandacomics 02:04, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There have been less to write about of their album since S.H.E moved to release an album a year which I deem appropriate. Very well, I guess we'll just stick with the year-by-year format then until there are better suggestions. EricOng 08:27, 25 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

S.H.E Books[edit]

Could we just move all S.H.E's pictorial books to a sub-page like S.H.E's cover songs, endorsements and discography? I find it messy this way, no? --EricOng 08:32, 25 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The books are a tad messy, but I guess we can just use an image-free wikitable like what we did with "drama series" -Pandacomics 20:06, 25 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Should we move these paragraphs to Selina/Hebe/Ella's individual pages?[edit]

Selina Ren was the actual winner of this contest. Her younger sister really wanted to join but was too young. Instead, Selina joined the contest in her place. She caught the judges' attention in the first round by singing Coco Lee's 'Before I Fall In Love' and entered the final round with no trouble, singing 'The Closest Stranger'. Due to her nervousness during the final round, Selina was called twice. When Selina was announced the winner, she was doubtful because there were other contestants who did not get called on.
Employees of the television show 'Cruel Stage' encouraged Hebe Tien to participate in the contest. During the first round, her voice started breaking while singing 'Return Home'. Hebe decided to sing a song with a lower key in the final round. However, because she was unfamiliar with that song, she forgot the lyrics in the finals, messing up her performance. Nonetheless, the manager appreciated her straight personality.
When Ella Chen and her younger brother went to Taipei from Pingtung for a holiday, Ella's elder sister registered her into the competition. Ella almost gave up before the first round because of the long queue of contestants, but was convinced by her sister to stay. Ella made her way through the final round due to her unique deep voice, which caught the company's attention and made her stand out from the others.

I'd like to move these, because I found this article that gives a pretty detailed account of the competition, and it's going to be ridiculously long if I include all three members' experiences together. I was thinking more along the lines of just putting in what songs they sang to go to the next round. -Pandacomics 20:58, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"Musical Style" section[edit]

What do you guys think of combining "Discography" and "Cover Songs" to form one "Musical Style" section? We can probably insert some stuff on Lyrical Style as well, if anyone can dig up information on that, Chinese or English. -Pandacomics 14:58, 28 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Awards section[edit]

Anyone in favour of moving the awards section to an article such as "List of S.H.E awards" ? - Pandacomics 14:21, 19 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Criticism[edit]

In the critism part, it says that "Chen Mingzhen accused S.H.E of stealing one of his songs, "Thinking of Your Moment" (想你的瞬間), to produce "Ocean of Love" (愛情的海洋)" First, Chen Ming Zhen is a female singer (I think she's was an actress, and made an album). Second, S.H.E was not accused of stealing, instead, it was a conincident that the two companies covered the same song by Sweetbox. Although Chen Ming Zhen covered the song first, she released it after S.H.E released as one of their title song in their album. The female solo singer never composed the song. (This is also stated in your reference site)Willyly 05:38, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks again. Since it isn't criticism, I'm just going to throw the information onto the Genesis album page (The main article is long enough already). - Pandacomics 07:55, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Influence and Impact: Musical[edit]

"Another group that formed around the same time was ASOS, which consisted of two sisters, Barbie and Dee Hsu. The duo would release only one album before going on to host numerous variety shows on a full-time basis." ASOS was definitely not formed around the same time as when S.H.E came out. They have been out for many years now, famous for their song 十分鐘的戀愛. S.H.E sang this song at one of the Golden Melody Awards, part of a medley of classic Taiwan girl group songs. They have also been host for many years prior to 2001. They came out in the year of 1994. (http://tw.knowledge.yahoo.com/question/question?qid=1305091305150) Willyly 05:38, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yay...someone else other than me on this page. Ok, question then. Do we count S.H.E's predecessors as well or just their contemporaries? Because ASOS didn't do too well in the 21st century. - Pandacomics 07:52, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Girls Dormitory & Humanitarian work - section removal[edit]

The removal of the Girls Dormitory section is temporary until someone offers to provide information from the Jiaozi book listed at the bottom of the article, or from another similar source that describes S.H.E's experience in the dorm. Also, I'm temporarily removing Humanitarian Work because there is only one sentence to support this seemingly "major" section i.e. two equal signs. Until 1) we decide where to put it (musical career? influence?), 2) we find more information on the trip, we'll put the introduction here:

On [[March 13]][[2007]], the three girls left for India on a five-day humanitarian trip.<ref>{{zh icon}} [http://music.ent.tom.com/2007-03-06/0009/07418722.html S.H.E doing charity work in India, hopefully won't have a repeat of Stefanie Sun's incident]. Passed GA[edit]

Very impressively in-depth and well referenced. One thing that did confuse me was the "Covers" section though. The statement "S.H.E has quite a number of cover songs" left me confused as to if they have covered a number a songs, or if a number of their songs had been covered by other people. Probably should be reworded a bit. Otherwise, the article looks great. There may be a few more minor issues here and there (such as that unfree image at the top) as I didn't get too in-depth, but it would be unfair to hold the article back from GA status over little things. I pass it. Congrats.--SeizureDog 10:31, 7 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

S.H.E[edit]

It should be S.H.E. - It's an abbreviation, so should be punctuated or plain, as in F.B.I./FBI . If that's their name and they like it that way, then I can't disagree... andreasegde 11:51, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That's how the company spells it. Any of the three official websites would say that same. - Pandacomics 14:13, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Taiwan vs. China[edit]

If you take a look at the notes section at the bottom, if "Taiwan" is used in a non-political sense (as will be the case in much of this article), Taiwan is the "music industry in the area known commonly as Taiwan". China is "the music industry located on mainland China," while Hong Kong is "the music industry in Hong Kong."

It has nothing to do with politics unless otherwise stated. - Pandacomics 19:42, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Free images[edit]

We're trying to put free images (i.e. images taken by people on their digital cameras or otherwise) as profile pics, not promotional pics. I repeat, NOT promotional pics. Free images would include pictures that you took at concerts or autograph sessions. Please stop trying to upload pictures you found on Google. Thanks. - Pandacomics 16:22, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WTC and Girls Dorm[edit]

Well, personally I think it's worth noting that they made their debut on a rather solemn day, because debut albums are usually make-or-break. And the fact that they are still around despite 9-11 is quite something. But yeah, discuss before we decide on 1) keeping it off, 2) putting it back up. - Pandacomics 17:38, 27 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Plagarism[edit]

If I'm not wrong, the opening violin motif of S.H.E.'s song "Don't Wanna Grow Up" is a direct copy of some famous composer's (possibly Mozart or Beethoven) symphony in a minor key. Does anyone have any information of this? --121.6.64.153 11:45, 20 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

According to copyright laws, it's not plagiarism because the copyright (plus 70 years) of Mozart's life has long expired. Furthermore, they are putting words to music, not to mention the fact that it is just the intro and chorus that use portions of the original composition. Therefore it is a parody, and not so-called "plagiarism." - Pandacomics 15:15, 20 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pronunciation?[edit]

Would the proper way to say their name be she or S-H-E? Nevermind, I watched some clips from award shows and the announcers said S-H-E. 67.81.82.118 (talk) 00:20, 22 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Article displaying oddly[edit]

For me, the article is showing up very strangely. Everything before the "Musical style" section displays properly, as does the "Musical style" header and the "See also: S.H.E discography" part. Then everything else that comes afterwards, including the remaining text, images, references, external links and infobox, are bunched up to the right in the "Audio samples of S.H.E songs" sample box. Does anyone else see this? It happened in both Firefox 3 and IE 7. I studied the article but could find no causes and no way to fix it. Bhamv (talk) 10:45, 26 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wow! I thought it was only me! Happens to me too, including articles like Jay Chou. I guess it's the browser... Dengero (talk) 13:07, 26 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Main page nomination[edit]

I noticed this article, unlike Jay Chou, has not been up on the main page yet. I propose to nominate this for Main page on September 11 if it hasn't been up by then. The date's gonna be an awkward coincidence with the September 11 attacks, but I think it's a significant date for this article considering that was the release date of S.H.E's debut album. An alternative date would be August 12, when all three members entered the Universal Talent and Beauty Girl Contest. I can already see this receiving 5 points or more for the nomination. Arsonal (talk) 03:05, 26 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I was thinking about this too. I hadn't really bothered yet cause September is pretty far away. But now that it's June... Pandacomics (talk) 15:33, 26 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

August now. We've got a few days before we can nominate this since it could worth a crap load of points... Let me know if this blurb works for you.

Hebe, Ella, and Selina (from left to right) in Hong Kong during their Perfect 3 tour.
Hebe, Ella, and Selina (from left to right) in Hong Kong during their Perfect 3 tour.
S.H.E is a Taiwanese girl group whose members are Selina Jen, Hebe Tien, and Ella Chen. In 2000, Jen, Tien and Chen signed up for a singing contest, and the winner, Jen, was awarded a record contract. Tien and Chen, who were both finalists, joined Jen to form S.H.E. The name of the group is an alphabetism derived from the first letter of each member's name. Since releasing their first album Girls Dorm (2001), S.H.E has recorded 10 albums with sales totalling over 4.5 million, and set ticketing records in each of their two concert tours. The trio frequently covers songs by other artists and performs original compositions. The group produces albums under the HIM International Music label. The group has also acted in seven drama series, hosted two variety shows, and contributed 10 songs to six drama soundtracks. S.H.E has endorsed more than 30 companies and products, including Coca-Cola and World of Warcraft. Thanks largely to S.H.E's success, other Taiwanese record labels began forming their own girl groups. (more...)

5 points: (1) Article was promoted between one and two years ago (December 7, 2007). (1) Date relevant to article topic, as S.H.E released its debut album on September 11, 2001. (1) The requestor, myself, has never had an article featured on the main page before and is a top 5 contributor. (2) The last FA article related to Chinese-language entertainment, Jackie Chan, appeared on September 12, 2008. Arsonal (talk) 21:16, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm pretty sure the similar article criterion extends to all singers, but I've checked TFA for July, and there was a band that was featured on July 15. You can try to see what people will say regarding points, but I think it'll be either 1 (if voters deem it similar) or 5 (if they do not). As for the blurb, I think we can remove the bit about endorsements cause it's a bit cheesy to be featured on the main page. Pandacomics (talk) 22:26, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I went ahead and nominated the article after withdrawing the under-representation comment. The endorsement sentence has also been removed. Arsonal (talk) 19:05, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Because Maynard James Keenan will be on the front page on August 15, this is only a one-pointer, and therefore does not have enough points to replace an existing nomination. I removed it from the requests page. Dabomb87 (talk) 19:24, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
So I'm confused. Am I allowed to renominate this for the date when there's a slot open (and if it doesn't get replaced)? Arsonal (talk) 19:32, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well, spots are locked from now until September 12, which means that we'd have to wait till after the first article in that 5 article set passes by. Not to mention that in order to eliminate the -2 penalty, we'd have to wait until September 16 at the earliest, which really has no significance as a date. Pandacomics (talk) 19:36, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
True, but you'd still get 2 points for FA age and having an FA on the Main Page for the first time. Dabomb87 (talk) 19:46, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
(out) Definitely 1 or 3 points (depending on whether or not anything similar gets featured), not 5; I thought I had commented here when I saw this thread start, but I guess I forgot to. You also need to be prepared to address the September 11 concerns; I know you mentioned it above, but if you nominate this for September 11 this year or next year I'm sure that issue will be brought up anyway.
If you can't think of any relevant dates, the best option is just to try nominating it at some time when there's a date you can see no one is jostling for. ie, keep an eye on WP:TFA/R, and if there is a time when a date only 10 days away or so does not have any nominations and doesn't have anything scheduled, feel free to nominate this without any relevant date connection (you don't need lots of points if no other articles are competing for that date). User:Raul654 tends to watch that page and the associated talk page closely, so even if the nomination gets bumped off later he is likely to schedule it into some other day when he gets a chance. rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 19:50, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

(cross-posting my reply to Arsonal from their talk page) You can nominate it when a) there's less than 5 nominations on WP:TFAR or b) when this article has more points than an article already on the requests page. Dabomb87 (talk) 19:51, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

why is this article so long[edit]

nobody cares about this band outside of Taiwan. This page has almost as many words as the page for William Shakespeare. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 218.166.219.74 (talk) 11:29, 4 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unnecessary fair-use image File:SHE-CD08.jpg[edit]

Use of this image in this article is not justified per the non-free content criteria. The image itself is not discussed in the article and an image is not necessary to illustrate anything here that cannot be explained through text alone; the album's cover artwork is not discussed in the article (the closest the article comes is mentioning that all the albums have a clover on them, but that is already illustrated with another image and there's no need to choose this one album for it), and the text next to the image only discusses the album's sales, for which no picture of the album is necessary.

I removed the image, but was quickly reverted, so am starting a 'discussion' here. rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 02:03, 5 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Correcting some errors[edit]

Hello. While reading the article, the first thing I've noticed is that the intro is not long enough to summarize the entire content. My second concern is that the majority of the references are not accessible (dead links). There are also some issues with the prose, mainly some aberrations like Oct. 22, or not attributing some authors in the criticism section. The audios are in sound quality way above the required level and don't feature properly filled rationales.--Retrohead (talk) 21:30, 12 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
