AndyL vs. Wheeler[edit]

Again, Again, and Again, AndyL takes my material, doesn't credit me because he doesn't like my work. I do the research. I do the hard work. Andy comes in and rearranges everything and DOES NO WORK. He creates a new article out of the work I did. He did not add a single thing. All the material of this article was taken from the Weimar Timeline which was imbedded in it. Andy didn't like it and so like the petty caesar he is he changes it. Notice that NONE of the material in the article is his work. It is all mine. He steals again. This person has no respect for others and because this threatens his POV he has to change it. As far as I know this man continues to abuse his position as an administrator.

Timelines are for the purpose of putting events in context and in order to show how things develop. Because this info threatens the POV of AndyL, he just couldn't let that sit.WHEELER 15:39, 9 Sep 2004 (UTC)

I've come to notice that when arguments fail WHEELER he resorts to personal attacks. such as the one above. AndyL 22:00, 10 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Use of color[edit]

  1. Thank you Wheeler, for the time, effort, and thought.
  2. I'm red-green color blind and can not tell the black from the brown; and can barely tell the red from the black and brown. Color coding is bad for many sight impaired people. You put your excellent work here for people to see. I could see more of what you meant to communicate if color was not used, or if DIFFERENT colors were used. Ideally, one would use colors that also look different in black and white (ie become a grey scale in black and white), but there are always trade offs in the real world.
  3. Again, thanks for your efforts.
  4. P.S. History text gets reverted less than theory and definition type text. All the effort spent on (whatever) that gets deleted could go into (for example) Herodotus and his Histories and NOT get deleted. Then, when the stage is set (numerous historical texts summarized), you can refer to that history text in the theory and definition articles (republic, democracy, etc). Just an idea... 4.250.138.88 20:39, 5 Mar 2005 (UTC)
It reminded me of when god or Jesus speaks in some bibles where they have that in red. I had many a laugh at that coincidence. 88.108.243.145 02:21, 26 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The use of colors is bad for MANY reasons. Here are two more: 1) Wikipedia has its own color codes, in conflict with your blue-red-black-bold use; 2) I think the reader doesn't like and doesn't need this paternalistic and scholastic underlining of important events.JBarreto 12:22, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Battle of Dachau was April 16th, not 18th, 1919[edit]

Hello,

The battle of Dachau was on the 16th, not the 18th. Sources:

  • Paul Hoser, Dachau in der Münchner Revolution und Räterepublik von 1918/1919, in: Amperland 41 (2005), Issue 4, 147-171.
  • Epp, Die Niederwerfung der Raeteherrschaft in Bayern, 1919, Oberkommando der Wehrmacht, 1939.

If no one changes it within the next two weeks then I will.

OK it's been only ten days but why would anybody complain anyways - I corrected the date. I put the term "Battle" in quotation marks because it wasn't really a battle - the soldier's councils on either side had an agreement already, and it was local workers from Dachau, not the communists, that captured the commanding officers of a first detachment. See sources above. --Carboxen 03:11, 27 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please cease using colour[edit]

I use the green text on black background gadget to read Wikipedia, and the use of colour coding, particularly the blue colour, makes it extremely difficult to read this article. NerdyNSK (talk) 06:16, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Colour removed[edit]

I removed all colour and replaced it with textual descriptions, but I am not sure what the meaning of the blue colour coding was. Can you help me? NerdyNSK (talk) 06:39, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

From viewing a couple of earlier versions, the blue passages seemed to detail the history of National Socialism prior to the involvement of Hitler. knoodelhed (talk) 16:57, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Prehistory of National Socialism[edit]

This section is unsourced and there is no explanation what most of this has to do with national socialism. (I assume the title refers to antecedents.) Therefore I will remove the section. TFD (talk) 23:32, 28 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

1834 Börsenblatt reference[edit]

Does this document refer to "Nationalsozialismus" in/as the title of a book, or as a subject? A scan of the passage would be helpful. knoodelhed (talk) 17:44, 17 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
