List of works by first edition[edit]

Works should be listed primarily by title and year (and publisher, illustrator) of their first editions. Eg, The Adventures of Odysseus and the Tale of Troy, The Macmillan Company (or Macmillan), 1918

Data from later editions should be given by annotation, or entries later in the list, or not at all. Eg, The Children's Homer, Collier Books (or Collier), YYYY

The Boy Apprenticed to an Enchanter, illustrated by Dugald Stewart Walker, Macmillan, Nov 1920. This book is reviewed as a collection in "Beautiful Gift Editions ...", NYTribune 1920-12-12 pF8, Another series of stories for children ... Early Poetry and Plays[edit]

There is a citation supporting the statement about Colum living in Rathfarnham. This information is gleaned from the lengthy introduction Column wrote for Poems of the Irish Revolutionary Brotherhood (1916). The citation currently directs the reader to this text reprinted in an an easy-to-read blog. However, the source can be changed the actual book itself, which is a bit more cumbersome to view and read. Looking into the current citation further, it was from a Wordpress site which often means there is a self-publishing issue with the source, thus the tagging for reliability. But as you note, this is a more readable version of the text than the Google books version, so the site likely reproduces a reliable primary sources. It would be good if the 1916 book qualifies as public domain content, a question that warrants further investigation. Can't say where a secondary source could be found, but the primary source may be sufficient in the meantime. Dl2000 (talk) 23:48, 9 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
