Did You Know
A fact from this article appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the "Did you know?" column on April 7, 2010.
The text of the entry was: Did you know ... that among the ships fighting at Trafalgar (pictured) were the British HMS Neptune, the French Neptune and the Spanish Neptuno?

Notes[edit]

According to http://www.napoleonguide.com/richard-parker.htm one of the leaders of the Nore mutiny was tried aboard HMS Neptune. Based on the year this is most likely the same HMS Neptune that we're covering here, but I'd like to see confirmation of that before adding it. The date on which the previous Neptune was stricken would do. Ahoo 04:34, 1 Mar 2005 (UTC)
