Talk:Moral core

I suspect that this article is written by someone who thinks that, because he or she has a theory about something called a "moral core," therefore Wikipedia should have an article with that title, introducing his theory.

I think we should probably get rid of this article. Discussion? --Larry Sanger

I would first give the author a chance to name and describe which theories (and developed by who) rely on this notion, and also name who exactly "presumes" that the moral core is epigenetic (and why they simply presume it and do not support the claim with arguments). If the wuthor can do this it might be a valid article -- otherwise, I would agree with you, Slrubenstein
There is no such thing as moral fiber or moral instinct? Do we not protect our fellows, our children? That seems foolish, of course such a thing exists. Change it's title, and remove the claim of some biological or genetic basis, that is reasonable. But ignore the innate nature of morality? Hasty indeed. EntmootsOfTrolls

Is this page still in dispute? Now it seems NPOV... (I'd like to remove boilerplate) Przepla 22:33, 16 Nov 2003 (UTC)

Since nobody's objected in the past five months, I'm going to follow through on that. Removing NPOV dispute header. Bryan 01:48, 17 Apr 2004 (UTC)

This link gives at least a decent explanation of one perspective on what is meant by this unusual term. --Michael Snow 21:06, 28 Jun 2004 (UTC)

There wasn't a consensus to delete at Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/Moral core, so I tried to improve the article instead. --Michael Snow 04:54, 29 Jun 2004 (UTC)
