Outtakes?[edit]

What's the source on these outtakes? I've never heard anything about them elsewhere. Did they play these songs live or something? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.218.33.100 (talk) 07:57, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Some of those songs are on Youtube, but I've never heard of the rest either...--Bonskidroses (talk) 20:08, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Review Input[edit]

I've read through the article, per Retroheads request. Overall, it looks very good. I see no problems with any of the content that is present. My only thoughts on change would be to know a little bit more about a few things.

  1. Matt Falon's first and only mention was about his removal. I found it to be a bit confusing at first. It just seems a bit odd to mention the removal of someone who hadn't even been introduced yet. Is there anything of note about him that could be mentioned prior to that?
  2. I think the album could use a bit more about it's actual sound/composition/musical style. All I can really gather about that is basically from the infobox calling it glam, and the reception section referring to it as "party rock" or something. I think going into that would help the reader understand a bit more about the album.

Those were my main thoughts. I completely understand if these things are unknown or unattainable. I know it can be easy to ask or muse upon these sorts of things, but rather difficult to find out, especially from albums from an age before internet journalism was prominent. The article overall is great. Sergecross73 msg me 20:31, 19 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your time reading the article, I'm glad you think it's satisfying. I'll sort out Falon's issue, although his presence in the band is barely meaningful. The lyrics and music analysis are beyond my reach as I found little in the books/magazines archives about the album's composition. There's a biography about the lead singer coming out in September, so that should help me writing that section. Thanks again for all the input. Cheers.--Retrohead (talk) 23:07, 19 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. I think you're fine bumping it up to B class at this point, though I do think not having more on the sound/style aspect would be a recurring issue at a hypothetical GA review, FYI. But yeah, good work! Sergecross73 msg me 13:04, 20 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
