I don't think that this image is PD-USGov, as it appears it wasn't taken by a US Federal Govt employee. Evil MonkeyHello 04:33, May 22, 2005 (UTC)

Fair Use?[edit]

The photographer was Jon Michael Terry of Turlock, California who took the photograph of Levy in 1994 when she commissioned him to take her Senior Portrait. I'm not sure if it's common practice outside the United States, but in America it is common for high school seniors to have a portrait photographs taken and then distributed to friends and family. My understanding is that the photo was then released as a "missing person photo" after her disappearance. I am not certain who released the photos (if anyone) for this purpose or if subsequent use in this context qualifies as fair use. Perhaps a legal expert could lend an opinion. --Great Scott 16:45, 6 June 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Nice jeans. Lol[edit]

Would it be appropriate, given how common this picture's appearance became after her disappearance, to mention all the criticism and mockery Jessica Simpson came under for wearing similar "mom" jeans? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.75.166.251 (talk) 13:03, 14 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
