Ingalls[edit]

I believe that the eponym for the Ingalls crater on the USGS site has an incorrect middle initial "L." that should instead be "G." for Graham. Albert Graham Ingalls was a former editor of Scientific American, and an amateur telescope making enthusiast. He also lived during the same specified year range 1888-1958. This appears to fit his description as an American Optician. I couldn't find anything biographical on an Albert L. Ingalls, other than an association with the crater. So I modified this page to use "Graham" instead of "L.". — RJH 15:09, 20 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

It turns out that Graham is the correct middle name. The "L." was an error in the Who's Who on the Moon book that was propagated. — RJH 19:26, 11 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Kinau[edit]

There are two possible Kinau eponyms (see main discussion page): A.C. Kinau (botanist) and Gottfried Adolf Kinau (pastor and amateur astronomer). We will list them both until this is clarified by the USGS. Awolf002 15:18, 23 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Geber[edit]

Accorting to Geber (crater) is named after Jabir Ibn Hayyan. btw is seems that the name geber, even correct, is based on wrong spelling because the latin name of Jabir Ibn Hayyan is Gerber. if there is anyone with knowledge about crater names maybe he can add a few words.
