Coos is often, but apparently not officially, spelled with an umlaut over the second 'o', to show that it is prounounced with two syllables, as in "kowe-ose", not "kewss". I don't know if you want to indicate that somehow when you make this page go live, but thought I'd mention it ... - DavidWBrooks 19:07, 17 Sep 2004 (UTC) (a NH-ite, but not from that far north!)
