The wictionary definition has the best fit: "a raised, flat-topped bank of earth with sloping sides, especially one of a series for farming or leisure; a similar natural area of ground, often next to a river". It's a geologic feature and unfortunately the appropriate page doesn't exist. — RJH 19:54, 8 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
