Jesus Work Group

Welcome to the Jesus work group of WikiProjects Christianity, Islam, and Bahá'í Faith. This WikiProject aims primarily to create, develop and maintain articles relating to the life and activities of Jesus in a non-denominational, NPOV, and verifiable way. The scope of this project is the Category:Jesus, and its various subcategories. The goals of the project include:

  1. Create, improve, and/or maintain a suite of articles on Jesus that is NPOV and comprehensive.
  2. Assist in the categorization of articles, specifically those articles in the Category:Jesus and its subcategories, which can be found at Wikipedia:WikiProject Christianity/Jesus work group/Categories, including potentially removing articles or categories incorrectly placed there from the category.
  3. Seek to prevent edit wars, and provide a place for discussion of topics of dispute where a number of interested parties can express their opinions.
  4. Prevent development of unnecessary "daughter articles", and seek to consolidate those articles which can easily be so consolidated.
