Cleanup[edit]

I did a fair bit of cleanup on the page. Most importantly, the dictionary defintions were removed (and in their place, wiktionary was linked to), as dicdefs belong on wiktionary, not on wikipedia. In other cases (insurance/finance), I wasn't able to find a single page that was related closely enough to loss to link to. --Interiot 18:54, 7 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wins definition inaccurate[edit]

The wins stat in baseball does not decrease when a pitcher is credited with a loss. The record gets worse, which is a hybrid stat of wins and losses (i.e. a record of 4-1 means 4 wins, 1 loss). BigNate37 23:13, 19 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
