The Nightmoves award mentioned here, is awarded by the magazine that is mentioned in Jewel De'Nyle awards list? If so please create a red link (tm). --Easyas12c 08:25, 19 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I love devon , she is so sexy.

Yes, she is. But I wonder if those rumours of drug addiction are true. True or not, the issue should be treated here. Alex Coiro 04:25, 29 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

does anyone else think that she wears too much makeup now? she looks different than she used to.--BUF4Life 08:13, 11 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
maybe we could mention this in the article. I don't know if she's under new management or something, but she looks different now.--BUF4Life 03:43, 22 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
also, i read in an interview that she was engaged but i got broken off.--BUF4Life 03:44, 22 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
great new picture!!!!--BUF4Life 03:45, 22 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Intro phrasing[edit]

There is dispute about which terminology to use in the introduction: either Devon is "an erotic actress who bypassed most of the traditional paths into adult films" or Devon "is an American porn star". What are the traditional paths into adult films? The article mentions her dancing at Al's Diamond Cabaret, a strip club. I'm not sure how dancing as a stripper and then moving onto adult films would not be a common path into adult films. Olessi 21:49, 6 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I would go with the second of those choices since there is no rationale given for using the phrase "bypassed most of the traditional paths". If the article provided some background to back up the "bypassing" comment, then I'd be fine with that. Going from stripping to adult movies is generally how it's done. Unreferenced information[edit]

The following was (mostly) uncited. Some of this can be reworked in later, when someone can come along and confirm this information fully:

2006 Update[edit]

  • Devon has a brand new official website (www.DevonUnleashed.com)

this information is old an now inaccurate

  • Devon quit Digital Playground in 2005 and has since signed

with Black Kat Productions (www.blackkatproductions.com). She will be doing several interracial scenes in the upcoming months. this information is old an now inaccurate

  • Devon plans to start her own company (Devon X Productions),

which will be partnered with Black Kat Productions. She already has seven new girls under contract. this information is old an now inaccurate

  • Devon's first movie of 2006 will be entitled "Devon Unleashed",

produced and distributed by Black Kat Productions. this information is old an now inaccurate

  • In between leaving Digital Playground and signing with Black

Kat Productions, Devon was with another company, Ecstasy Mobile (www.ecstasymobile.com) for a brief period of time. Things did not work out, though, and she made no movies with them before her former friend and fellow pornstar, Tawny Roberts (who owns Ecstasy Mobile), decided to fire her.

Inappropriate merging[edit]

Sorry about that. Wrong IMDb info and misleading link to MySpace screwed me up. Sam22789 05:57, 21 June 2006 (UTC)sam22789[reply]

Why Merge?[edit]

When viewing this article, it said at the top that it has been suggested to merge this porn actress's article with the article about some geographical place known as "Devon." Such a suggestion makes no sense to me. The disambiguation page works fine, don't you think? 71.96.112.95 05:03, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have no idea. Some user thinks it's funny to suggest that the two articles should be merged. They have nothing to do with one another other than the name. I've removed the template, again. Dismas|(talk) 05:10, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Personal information[edit]

I think there may be too much personal information about Devon here. Although her high school info can be found on the internet, I do not think it should be posted. I do not think that the names of her family members should be posted, unless they have a Wikipedia entry of their own. It seems like an invasion of their privacy. I do not see this kind of information about the family names of other porn stars. I can see posting her real name, she has done that herself. If she chooses to post this kind of information about herself on her personal web page that is one thing. Lets show a little respect and common sense here and delete the family info.baronvon

a relationship gossip site (whodatedwho)and a site that relies on user contributions (famouswhy) are not my idea of sources that have reputations of accuracy and fact-checking. Morbidthoughts (talk) 04:25, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I wish there were better sources, but there previously existed no sourcing at all to the statement that she attended another high school. Two independent sites substantiate the affiliation, which is as much, if not more, than exists on other sites, in most cases. I am readding them and will keep my eye out for more and/or better ones. PAWiki (talk) 18:22, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Per WP:V, "The burden of evidence lies with the editor who adds or restores material." You haven't met that burden. This issue was disputed by another user although that person did not provide any sources. The two sites stating she went to one high school are no better proof than the unsourced statements she went to another. Due to this dispute, I removed it and it shouldn't be readded until you find better sources verifying this information. If you would like a third party to weigh in on this dispute, please do so at WP:BLPN. Morbidthoughts (talk) 00:20, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I reviewed your sources deeper, and they both rely on user contributions for their biography. For all I know, you could have submitted Emmaus to those sites. Further another source used in the article states she went to Saucon Valley. Good thing I also consider that source unreliable. Morbidthoughts (talk) 01:21, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

(actress)/(pornographic actress) RfC[edit]

An RfC which may affect this article's title is currently taking place (Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Pornography#RfC: Should a person who has appeared in exclusively pornographic films be described as "(actor/-tress)" or "(pornographic actor/-tress)"?).
