Lawyer; member of Vermont state senate from Caledonia County, 1882; Congregationalist. Died June 12, 1921. Interment at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, St. Johnsbury, Vt.

There's more to say about Ide's family. Two children are mentioned thus far. He actually had four. He also had a wife.
There's more to say about Ide's business affairs. He was a bank director (for several banks), a bank trustee, and receiver of the Knickerbocker Trust Company of New York.
There's more to say about Ide's honorary degrees, such as the one from Dartmouth College.
