  • I suggest moving girlfriend here and reworded to talk about this kind of person regardless of sex. Boyfriend, which looks like a dictionary definition, should be merged and re-directed. Note that the article for the company will remain at Sweetheart (company), and we can still have a link to it at the top of the merged article. 66.245.64.202 20:17, 10 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep. Completely inappropriate VfD listing IMO. I have reservations about the idea too, but the main point is, there's no need to delete anything to do this anyway. Andrewa 20:29, 10 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • reject not vfd material. To anon, please log in. This is not a case for vfd; discuss it on the article's talk page. The current procedure for requesting merges should go to Wikipedia:duplicate articles or to the village pump. Dunc_Harris| 20:32, 10 Oct 2004 (UTC)

    • I also put it in the Duplicate article section, but I am putting Sweetheart itself on Vfd because I think it should be deleted to prepare for a page move. Any better way to do this that doesn't involve deleting this page?? 66.245.64.202 20:34, 10 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Reject. As stated, not VfD -- can this be removed from VfD, actually? --Aponar Kestrel (talk) 00:47, 2004 Oct 12 (UTC)
  • Keep. Boyfriend, Girlfriend, Significant other, Romantic love, Courtship, and now [{Sweetheart]]. I think all these articles reflect very subtle nuances in our cultural practices and should all be separate articles. Someone should coordinate them better, methinks. <-- this is Fishal (func(talk) 03:48, 15 Oct 2004 (UTC))
